You decide based on your circumstances, whether you want to start the lesson from your place or from near VicRoads (address: Cnr Pearcedale Pde & Johnstone St, Johnstone St, Broadmeadows VIC 3047, Mel-way Street Directory reference 6 G8). You can get there by Bus 484, 500, 901, 902 (Stop Pearcedale parade), metro train (short walk from Broadmeadows station, drive there easily or with the help of PTV journey planner.

Getting lessons in the VicRoads Broadmeadows carpark can be very tricky and challenging at the beginning of the test, and the exit is to the right.
Learn how to look for a speed drop from 80km/h to 60km/h while the examiner will keep you busy doing lane changes on Pasco vale road.
You will be taught how to merge and adjust speed on Camp road in Broadmeadows when speed limit drops from 70km/h to 60km/h (40km/h during school times) whilst driving downhill.
Heads up to learners
Most of the back-streets are either 40km/h or 50km/h zone. We recommend driving 5km/h under the speed limit when safe during the licence test!
Nail into the Blair Street and Riggall Street roundabout as it’s so huge that sometimes learner drivers get confused about which exit to take!
You will be told as you are turning right at the roundabout: “unless otherwise marked, you are turning into a 60km/h zone”! Does most drivers think, this is a trap? Whatever, learn all of them with us in a lesson!
