Instructor job pre requisites:
Applicant must have completed certificate III or IV in teaching learner drivers from a recognised Australian registered training provider. Must have professional instructor licence issued by Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria (CPVV) formal Victorian Taxi service commission with a 6 digit instructor authority number. Also willing to attend professional development course (complementary) arranged by Ideal driving school on an ongoing basis.
Arrive at the lesson on time! Provide a safe learning environment physically and emotionally at all times. You have a modern dual control pedal fitted vehicle which is insured as a training vehicle. Display your instructors photo ID card appropriately. Provide lessons only when you are medically fit. Unless emergency, don’t use mobile phone during the lesson. You maintain high personal standard and hygiene. You do not smoke inside your car, also no food and drink inside the car. Your car is clean inside and outside at all times. Unacceptable behaviour examples: Offensive language/ jokes; Suggestions or derogatory comments about someone’s racial or ethnic background, sex, sexual preference, disability, physical appearance or religious preference; except to shake hands or accidentally or in a driving emergency- make physical contact with the learner driver.
